It's appalling how little most of these whiny Monday morning quarterbacks know about the horrors of the Pacific War. They deserve to be beaten over the head with a copy of Morison's official Navy history of WW2* until the skulls are soft enough to let common sense in.
*The full sixteen-volume set. The Two-Ocean War, while good, doesn't have the necessary mass.
