I’ll lift a glass of the good stuff in honor of Andrew. 🫡

Andrew Breitbart exhibited great courage in a most graceful way. He just did it. I didn't get a chance to meet him in person. I watched what he did on t.v. The best one was when he busted in (most gracefully) on the big Anthony Weiner press conference where A.W. was gonna tell his side of the sex-text story. Weiner had already taken the podium and yet, somehow, Breitbart eased him out of the way and totally took over the meeting. I didn't hear what Breitbart said because I was laughing too hard. What Breitbart did to Weiner was a work of fine, real-time art. I will never forget it, or him.

Well said, Dana. Right now I'm having a very hard time with those who are trying to take our rights through the legislative process. I must follow Andrew's lead and take a deep breath and fight on in a civil manner. I've said it before that Andrew introduced me to The The and "This Is The Day" via an internet radio show. The group and that song specifically became a favorite of mine as well. The candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long. Andrew burned twice as bright. He is greatly missed.

I used to be on twitter. I remember you would tweet about Andrew on this day. It was a reminder that I missed Andrew. I never met him but would always ready the many articles on his site. I don’t anymore. Things changed on Breitbart.com after he passed but you didn’t change, Dana. At least I think you haven’t. I’ve never met you. Anyway, thank you for remembering Andrew Breitbart every year. Like you, I think he was born for the storm.

I never met Andrew but was heavily influenced by him. His death was a crushing blow to controlling media propaganda.

I bet that somewhere, Andrew is watching Dana, nodding approvingly, and saying “I did good with that one.”
