I must bear my soul and confess to the world that in early 1970 I worked for what was then called "The Interstate Commerce Commission". I lasted 5 months before I came completely to my senses and went back into private business. I learned within the first 30 days that all government employees (I rode the train between Baltimore and Washington with people from several agencies, all of whom were clones). I determined in that short period of time that the government only wanted the mentally and morally unfit to be employed. Since I am neither I knew I could not stay. The object was not to do a productive job but to take as long as possible on minor task. This allowed the supervisors to complain they didn't have enough staff and needed more. The larger the staff the more prestige the supervisor had and this went all the way to the top. It was like union jobs, if you did a better than average job you were considered to be against your union brothers (who I thought were all a bunch of slackers). I worked in a trucking company office and while I wasn't union everyone driving and on the dock was. I went to a non union company, became the dock manager and senior rate clerk, left that and started my own business which I have now operated for 43 years,
There were 75 "tariff examiners" in my department with the ICC. I figured I could get the same productivity out of 15 and the same was true for every other department in every other agency. It was a first hand look at how much of our tax dollars are wasted each year, even if we kept the non essential agencies!

Will he advocate for freedom in the absence of Trump? They have my vote. The nuance of political engineering is important to some, but only important to me so far as preserving our freedom. I am so fully aware that it is imperative to me and my countries' citizens to behave with moral fortitude. Our freedom is under the stewardship of our responsibility. While I agree that it is our our responsibility to vote, I also recognize that it is imperative, on the basis the founders placed the declaration and the constitution, to live a moral a life: that is the responsibility of all citizens, in order to preserve our way of life, our way of freedom. In the scope of these truths, the VP pick pales in significance. Politics is downstream of culture, and it is up to us as citizens to preserve that culture, our culture of freedom of worship with courage. It is my opinion that the opening night of this convention preserves that very well. May it live on, both regardless and within the spirit of the convention tonight.
That's because politics is full of tricks. The object is to weed out the tricksters and elect the ones who are true at heart acknowledging they are nothing without their God. They're the ones who will show the way.
