BUT - with any declassification, it would still have to follow procedure, and appropriate agencies notified. Truth is, neither man declassified the documents they had. DOJ/NARA is claiming they aren't going after Pence & Biden "because they co-operated." Which does make sense, considering the bulk of the charges here are for hiding boxes from his own layers who were sent to find things. Why Hillary isn't facing charges right now??? Well.. I think a lot of people are scared of her, plus, she's (D)ifferent.

There is a process that has to happen to declassify a document. Despite what he has said, Trump can NOT just say "Declassify!" and make it happen. The process has to be followed, and the appropriate and affected agencies have to be made aware when a document has been declassified. There was a whole court case about this back in 2020. If you read the actual indictment that I linked to at the beginning of the piece, these boxes were left, often unattended and unsecured, in public spaces within the resort for more than three months. There are txt messages suggesting that random employees may have gone through the boxes at some point to separate the "beautiful mind papers" from other things that could be placed into storage to save room. Then Trump started showing off classified documents that he felt would exonerate him from claims being made in the press - while fully admitting the documents were NOT declassified.
There are so many issues with how these boxes were maintained. If you want Hilary held responsible for mishandling classified material, then, to be consistent, you should want Trump held responsible for his mishandling of classified material as well. However, as I said at the end of the article, if the Govt is going to apply the law consistently, they need to either prosecute Hillary, Biden, Pence, etc - or drop the case against Trump in this matter.
I did read it. I guess my issue is that I don’t trust it. I don’t believe it’s 100% factual and based on everything we have learned since 2016 about how our government lies I am pretty sure I’m not the only one. They have been going after the man to find anything they can do now they say they found it.
Now what I would like to do is see the article showing what Pence, Biden or any other X high ranking officials still have in their possession. Wait....they don’t exist and that to me is the problem.

But at the moment, it's not looking good for Trump, but, on the flip side, the Dems have lied about him so much, that I can't trust them. But, this time they are showing photos and txt evidence... so... I just don't know. I guess we will see what happens.
The tone here just does not sit right with me. Trump has been a patriot and sacrificed so much for our country’s future. Based on recent revelations many people have had so called classified documents in their possession but for some reason they only go after Trump. I think we should ask ourselves why that is????
