My grandfather, who was born in 1905, always voted for the Democratic presidential candidate because he believed the Democrats were for the everyday working class and the Republicans were for the rich elites. He voted for Al Gore in the 2000 election right before he died a month later. Now, that’s completely reversed. The Democrats are the party of the rich elites and Republicans are the party of the working class as grandpa would put it. He was from Minnesota. If he were alive today, would he vote for Walz in any election? Hard to say with today’s media. But he was a smart man. My answer would be NO.
Dana! That was going to be my comment from "The Duke's of Hazard". It was my very first thought but you beat me to it with Boss Hogg! Throw in the Sheriff Roscoe as a side kick.
Before I put my reading glasses on I thought Kamala picked Joe Biden as VP. Without my reading glasses Tim does look like Biden. (de-ja vu all over again).
A while ago, Ronald Reagan said "the Democratic party left me." It's true. The Republican party is now the party of the working class. Knowing that the far left positions are anti-family to the extent that if the depended on families to continue to propagate their ideologies, their numbers would diminish by attrition due to death, this campaign is one of evangelism. Not of conservative Christian values, but of the opposite. They have to evangelize their message of perversion, anti-Semitism and death in order to keep their movement alive, and they're quite effective with their outreach, intersecting viewers with hours of screen time. So then the Walz pick makes sense. Do they care if they win the election or by what means they win it? No. They care about getting their message out. And Walz will help them do it. It doesn't matter if they win the election as long as the population follows their message. Would it help their cause if they win the election? Absolutely. We're in for another Holocaust.
