The right to self-defense is a natural right, written in both the philosophy of Darwinianism (survival of the fittest does not mean you don't fight for your survival) as well as Christian ethics. It is not only enumerated in the bill of rights, but also scripture. (Luke 22:36). The one regret of the Jews of the holocaust: most didn't fght back.
