Zelensky Was Petulant and Wrong

I have seen lots of talk about what went down in the White House a few days ago, specifically when current president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky decided to push back on both president Trump and Vice President Vance regarding his ability to win this war.

Don’t get me wrong, Russia is absolutely the aggressor here, and I do hope that of the two powers fighting that Ukraine somehow pulls the victory. This isn’t to say that Ukraine is completely innocent either, have we forgotten the Maidan protests? It wasn't even 20 years ago that Ukraine was well understood to be under a kleptocracy before Leonid Kuchma was in charge. Even then, that only changed so it could become an oligarchy, as the country very obviously struggled with the abuse of its own power. These points were even brought up by Vice President Vance, since even today the country still hasn’t rooted those issues out.
