Vegas Was NOT An Attack.

Vegas Was NOT An Attack.

The Vegas Cybertruck bomb was meant to be a spectacle to draw attention to military issues. It was not intended to be political.

A photo provided by Las Vegas police shows an ID belonging to Matthew Livelsberger found inside a Cybertruck that exploded on New Year’s Day.

We can now confidently say that the two events are NOT related. Based on the information learned about each individual, it’s clear that the New Orleans attack was meant to be a terrorist attack. But the Vegas Cybertruck bomb seems to have been an attempt to send a message, but not to who you might think.

By now, you have probably heard that the driver of the Cybertruck was identified late on New Year’s Day. He was Staff Seargent Matthew Livelsberger, an active-duty Green Beret. Since then, a plethora of information has come out from multiple sources, giving us a better picture of who he was and why he did this.

I’ll be honest: as the wife of a veteran, I find this one hard to write. The more information we got, the more it became clear that this was an active-duty special forces member who needed help, and didn’t get it.
