UPDATED: Two Minnesota Lawmakers and Their Spouses Shot in Their Homes
MN State Rep Melissa Hortman and her husband have died, MN State Sen John Hoffman and his wife are, at this writing, in critical condition.
Update 2:
The suspect was seen on surveillance video entering his place of business wearing a cowboy hat before he changed into the uniform. He was also spotted on the Blink Camera outside State Sen. John Hoffman’s home.
Both of the targeted lawmakers are Pro-Abortion. Law Enforcement Sources say there was a list of 70 targets in the suspect’s car, including Gov Tim Walz, and Rep Ilhan Omar. However, Minnesota Authorities have said that they are not going to release the manifesto at this time.
Investigators believe he is trying to leave the Twin Cities area. Anyone with information about Boelter's whereabouts is asked to call the tipline at 877-996-6222 or email bca.tips@state.mn.us.
UPDATE:
The shooter has been identified as Vance Luther Boelter. He is, as of this writing, still at large.
From my research, it would seem that VLB is a possible Democrat. He has served on the Workforce Development Board for Gov Tim Walz, the former VP Candidate for the Democratic party. He is a board member of the Praetorian Guard Security Company, and in that capacity worked a security gig in Gaza, West Bank, and South Lebanon - places run by Hamas and Hezbollah.
He has also worked for several food companies, including Nestle and the Red Lion Group out of the Democratic Republic of Congo. According to his LinkedIn, he had recently returned from a three-year stint in Africa, and was looking for work in the Food industry.
He likely used his access as a board member of the Praetorian Guard Security Company to gain access to a police-like car and uniform.
His motive is currently unknown to the public, though he did leave behind a manifesto, according to law enforcement. Officials are looking into abortion views as a possible motive. The tidbit about him doing security in Hamas/Hezbollah-controlled areas is interesting, considering both of the lawmakers he initially targeted seem to be pro-Israel and connected to the JCRC.
Correction:
As more information about the suspected shooter comes to light, it seems he used his security company to gain access to the areas controlled by Hamas and Hezbollah in order to share the gospel, at least according to a book he put out in 2006 that seems to have been scrubbed from the internet.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Minnesota State Rep Melissa Hortman and her husband have died. MN State Sen Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, were shot multiple times, but are, as of this writing, out of surgery in critical but stable.
The shooter was driving a car made to look like an official cop car, and was wearing a badge and duty belt complete with a taser, according to police, who encountered him as he left Hortman's home. He is still on the loose at this moment. Officials are asking Minnesotans to be on the lookout for a white male with brown hair, wearing black body armor, a blue shirt, and blue pants.
The shooter is said to have had a manifesto that named several other MN lawmakers and officials. He also apparently had "No Kings" flyers in his car - a reference to the No Kings march sponsored by Walmart heiress Christy Walton. Officials are urging people NOT to attend the now-cancelled No Kings marches in MN out of an abundance of caution.

FWIW - Hortman was recently the lone democrat to vote with the state's GOP to repeal free healthcare for illegal immigrants.

So sad. I have plenty to say, but now is not the time…….
Yet, the masses have blamed conservatives.
