Trump's Spending Freeze Frozen, Then Rescinded
After the Democrats caused mass hysteria and confusion, and a lawsuit was filed, the OMB backtracked.
Over the last week, President Trump has issued a flurry of executive orders. Several of those orders demand that the government stop funding certain activities:
Putting America First in International Environmental Agreements
Ending Radical and Wasteful Government DEI Programs and Preferencing
Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government
As a result of these orders, on January 27, the OMB issued a memo demanding that all federal agencies pause spending on anything covered by those EOs.
