Some have questioned whether or not he misspoke, but there hasn’t been any clarification thus far. I thought that the official Republican position was against any experimental genital surgery, chemical castration, or breast removal on minors but maybe I’m wrong?

Someone posited on X that we shouldn’t be “tricked” into tyranny by allowing the government to dictate to parents. I’ve never viewed laws against child abuse as tyrannical, or laws against child endangerment as such, for that matter.
