His first full day in office and the newly-minted 47th (and 45th) President of the United States has shuttered the entirely ineffective “White House Office for Gun Violence Prevention” and scrubbed its existence from the White House website.
Established by Biden in fall of 2023, the WHOGVP (really) was led by now-former border czar Harris and it accomplished … absolutely nothing. It didn’t lower crime rates, it didn’t prevent individuals show slipped once again past the FBI to carry out atrocities. It was a talking point, the least lazy thing the party could do because they like the pageantry of “doing something” without actually having to do something.
This move, grouped together with the national reciprocity bill gathering wind in the Senate and a separate bill (the No REGISTRY Rights Act) cosponsored by Rep. Michael Cloud (R-TX) and Sen. Jim Risch (R-ID) which seeks to eliminate purchase records kept by the ATF, is a great way to start the new year.
I’ll discuss all of this tomorrow with Donald Trump Jr. who will join the program live in Vegas at SHOT Show.
Dana, I'd forgotten about that 'gun violence' office, among other intrusive and/or useless offices the Biden regime conjured up. Thanks for the good news about it being wiped from existence!
There being a real chance for national gun reciprocity is one of the top 10 things that will really be freeing and liberating to all law-abiding citizens! Yes, CA, OR, WA, IL, NY, NJ and possibly WI, MI, HI, CT, VT, MA, CO will fight it, but in the end the Constitution and Bill of Rights will prevail. State borders should not determine if you can exercise your 2nd Amendment rights.
