The Spiritual Battle for the Heart of the Catholic Church and the Nation
Catholics For Catholics is at the heart of the Woke Reich nonsense.
When Joe Kent announced his departure from the government, his immediate welcome by the Woke Reich was understandable and expected, but what stood out in the crowd was his invitation to a gala held by the group Catholics for Catholics.
The Catholics for Catholics (CforC) organization was started by John C. Yep. Yep has his own checkered history with the church. He spent 14 years in the Legionnaires for Christ under Father Maciel. (Maciel was later exposed for turning the organization into his own personal cult, hiding financial assets from both the church and various governments, living a double life in which he fathered children, and also as one of the worst sexual predators in the church.) The purpose of the Legionnaires was to minister to and convert the wealthy and powerful, in the hope that their impact on society would be multiplied. This attitude can be seen in the way CforC has attached itself to the White House - holding events at Mar a Lago, hoping to gain Trump’s attention, and claiming to be the Official Catholic Partner with the White House despite no such role existing.
Last year, Yep told the NYPost that the purpose of his organization was “to defend the Church and the country against hardcore leftist ideologies while stimulating the Catholic vote and promoting religious liberties and pro-life causes.” While that sounds nice, it’s hard to believe given that the organization regularly platforms and recently awarded the likes of Candace Owens, Carrie Prejean-Boller, and Joe Kent.
John Yep also tried to latch himself and the Catholic faith onto Charlie Kirk after his assassination. He gave interviews claiming that Charlie was close to converting, something TPUSA’s Pastor Lucas Miles vehemently denied.
