Independents Moving the Needle.
What do all of those Political Action Committees have in common? Every one of them worked to encourage Democrats in NH to switch to “Undeclared” so they could vote in the GOP Primary.
Tell It Like It Is was a Chris Christie PAC and shared an address in Virginia with Granite State Votes - a project of American Leadership Today.

Independents Moving the Needle is run by GDub’s cousin, Jonathan Bush, and his billionaire friend, Frank Laukien. It’s well known that the Bush family hates Donald Trump, so Jonathan Bush’s involvement is not a surprise. Laukien has a history of supporting Republicans like Lindsay Graham, Susan Collins, and Dan Crenshaw. In 2020, he also threw a few dollars to Democrats via ActBlue and supported Amy Klobachar’s campaign. Laukien was also the one doing the press tour to hype the PAC and encourage “undeclared” voters to support Haley.
Primary Pivot and its sister organization, Primary Power, are both run by democrat operatives. Two women, BerryRazi and ChIIum, have been putting in the work to try to expose these groups and the people behind them. Both organizations focused on New Hampshire, but they also have teams working in Virginia, Georgia, and Massachusetts. Both list Robert Schwartz as a co-founder and many of the same people on their leadership teams.
Robert Schwartz is a State Department Official who took a year of sabbatical so he could focus on his goal of defeating Trump by manipulating the primaries. He has tried to hide his affiliation with the State Dept by changing it to “Not Listed” on his LinkedIn and changing his bio, but Google has his original bio cached.
The rest of the leadership includes a couple of immigration lawyers, a former GOP senator who has called MAGA “brownshirts,” and an activist with ties to the WHO and Pete Buttigieg.
Schwartz and company have been touting the New Hampshire Secretary of State numbers, which say about 4,000 voters switched out of the Democrat party ahead of the GOP Primary. They are promoting the fact that Nikki over-performed in New Hampshire as evidence that their strategy is working.
Meanwhile, Schwartz has posted on his social media that he will continue to push for Haley in the primary but will vote for Biden in the general election.
So, how has Nikki Haley’s campaign responded to all this? They love it. Nikki told reporters in late December, “If we get independents, if we get conservative Democrats, that’s what the Republican Party should pursue. Our goal is to get as many people in the tent as we can. Stop pushing people away from the party. Instead, bring people in.” Nikki’s campaign manager sent out a memo that touted the number of open or semi-open primaries on Super Tuesday. He made it clear that they want to survive South Carolina and focus on getting the “independent” vote in the open primaries.
Crossvoting isn’t new. Limbaugh pushed the idea to the mainstream when he launched Operation Chaos as a joke in 2008. However, the open reliance on non-republican voters in a Republican primary smacks of desperation. It definitely doesn’t sound like someone who has a large enough voter base to win in the general.

Sometime someone needs to point out what the GOP is doing wrong. They aren't listening to its base. Great work Lorraine. These RINOs need to point out Grilled for it too.
This treatise brings to mind "a brood of vipers" and leaves me cold--fearing for the very soul of our country.
