Now-President Joe Biden wasted no time demolishing the past four years of Trump achievements, starting with 17 executive orders and actions today:

Launching '100 Days Masking Challenge', federal grounds mask mandate

I talked about this last August after Biden first made remarks about requiring a national mask mandate. At the time, Biden said “"It's not about your rights. It's about your responsibilities as an American.” Biden’s camp discussed the Constitutionality of such a mandate and the guaranteed litigation it would invoke and concluded that the mask mandate would apply only to federal property and federal employees.

Resuming engagement with World Health Organization

Perhaps one of the biggest insults is the return of taxpayer dollars in support of this incompetent organization. The United States has given billions to the WHO only to be repaid by the WHO’s disastrous handling of a pandemic that contributed to its spread. The WHO made the pandemic that originated in Wuhan even worse. The WHO aided China in excluding Taiwan from international discussions even though Taiwan recognized the virus for what it was and successfully battled it early on, but was prevented from explaining how to other world bodies at China’s demand. Also establishes Dr. Anthony Fauci as the head of the delegation to the WHO.

Nationalizing coronavirus response

I wrote previously how Biden is moving to nationalize vaccination rollout and coronavirus response, taking more control from the states:

In contrast to Trump, Biden's plan emphasizes a bolstered federal response, rather than leaving key details to the states

His party has a horrendous record of handling not just the coronavirus response but the vaccine rollout in the states they control.

Extending eviction and foreclosure moratorium

The extension is until March 30th. Perhaps we could have a moratorium on out-of-touch politicians closing businesses based on no science.

Extending pause on student loans

This isn’t a major change from the Trump admin; Biden is expected to ask the Department of Education to extend the moratorium to September 30th.

Rejoining Paris Agreement on climate change

Those who called Trump a tyrant cheer Biden in his bypassing of the Senate, required for such international agreements as this. (the Obama admin tried to sidestep this Constitutional hang-up by calling the Paris treaty and “agreement,” thus robbing the American people of their right and ability to examine just to what we were being pledged without our review). The agreement requires all countries but the biggest polluter on earth, China, to cut their fossil fuel use and become carbon neutral, in accordance with arbitrary rules set by foreign climate activists who know nothing of economics. No person serious about the environment would excuse China for their pollution so we are left to assume that none of these people are serious about the environment.

Rescinding Trump's 1776 Commission, plus advancing critical race theory

Trump’s just-established 1776 Commission was for the purpose of promoting patriotic education, something antithetical to Marxist critical theory taking over our culture and reigning in our academic institutions — particularly critical race theory, or CRT. It means the Biden administration is endorsing CRT as a viable academic perspective, a theory which teaches that the United States is an illegitimate country full of barbaric bigots. Max Eden gives the worst case scenario as to how far Biden could go with this:

Critical race theory, for example, holds that all whites are inherently racist, that all nonwhites are inherently marginalized and oppressed, that the only way to be an “antiracist” is to espouse left-wing ideology, and that state-sponsored racial discrimination in favor of black, indigenous, and persons of color (BIPOC) and against whites is an “antiracist” imperative. Taking note of this, the Trump administration issued an executive order banning taxpayer-funded professional trainings that promote “race or sex stereotyping,” defined as “ascribing character traits, values, moral and ethical codes, privileges, status, or beliefs to a race or sex or to an individual because of his race or sex.” The Biden transition team has promised to rescind it, implicitly endorsing critical race theory. Biden’s administration could decide to go further and issue a DCL to mandate that school districts across America promote critical race theory.

Reverse the Trump rule that excluded non-citizens from census counts

Citizens receive representation. Non-citizens or those who entered the country illegally should start the process to become a legal citizen if they want the representation that American citizens receive, the same as everyone else.

Preserving and fortifying DACA program

Biden will restore the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals which applied to children illegally brought by their non-citizen parents or another non-citizen adult.

Ending the “Muslim Ban”

This was one of the most idiotically-named policies ever, thanks to the Fourth Estate. First, the policy was a moratorium on travel from certain countries and not all Muslim countries were included nor were even countries with the largest Muslim populations. As I’ve said many times before, these countries were identified by former President Obama (Trump enacted an Obama policy) and included countries whose security standards were either non-existent or lacking making it difficult-to-impossible to accurately vet individuals from those countries seeking entry to the United States:

The thrice-revised travel restrictions listenacted by President Donald Trump shortly after taking office currently restricts travel from 13 countries, including diplomatically recalcitrant nations like Myanmar, Venezuela, and North Korea as well as Muslim-majority nations where terrorist groups operate like Syria, Yemen, Chad, Sudan, Libya, Iran, and Somalia. The stated grounds for restricting visas from these 13 pre-modern or diplomatically hostile countries is that they can’t or won’t help with intelligence.

Roll back Trump’s expansion of immigration enforcement

Several of the orders deal with immigration, one of which deals with extending deportation deferrals for select Liberians.

The others are fairly self explanatory.

Stop border wall construction and terminate the emergency order through which Trump funded its construction
Prohibit via order workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity
Ordering executive branch appointees to sign an ethics pledge
Stop for review any new Trump regulations and direct OMB director to recommend ways to modernize the regulatory review process
Revoke the presidential permit for the Keystone XL pipeline and reverse over 100 environmental regulations rolled back by Trump.

Beginning tomorrow I’ll examine the other actions Biden is looking to take in his first 100 days. This week I’ll share a deep dive on what to expect from Joe Biden concerning gun control and the Second Amendment.

I watched the inaugural proceedings if you didn’t. Some more interesting moments:

I was too innocent and too GAY to deserve a Pardon from Trump. I only mattered to Don Jr. when he needed to make a comment about me to boost his social media post. Boy were we all stupid to believe he actually stood for Equal Justice? His corrupt friends all come first.

Interesting history here on how the Oval Office decor has changed over the years.

-> The U.S. Ambassador to Israel’s Twitter account went through some abrupt and incredibly controversial changes:

Clintons was fooled, and Biden, Obama, and Carter never believed Israel has a right to exist without preconditions, unlike Bahrain and the UAE, who realize that turning from the West was a mistake and regaining Islamic honor means turning back to the West rather than trying to destroy it. Trump did more in a few months than four presidents before him on that score. I'm hopeful that the snowball is rolling nicely without Foggy Bottom's pot-stirring. The Arab states know which side their bread is buttered on. Making the 2-year-old throwing a tantrum the center of attention was a dead letter.
