Tenacious D's "Apology"

I might feel differently if I thought that these were real apologies from Gass and Black, actual heartfelt remorse, but I don’t.

Yesterday video emerged of Tenacious D onstage in Australia where one half of the duo, Kyle Gass, joked about the attempted assassination of Trump, remarking “Don’t miss next time.” The audience roared.

Then came the pushback. Some in Australian government now want to deport the duo:

Jack Black announced on Instagram that he was “blindsided” and suspending the duo’s tour:

Let’s start with Gass, who said he “truly regrets any pain he’s caused.”

Any pain? A father is dead because of hatred like this. Another father almost lost his life. If this was a real apology Kyle Gass would have mentioned it.
