Operation Epic Fury.
“They can never have a nuclear weapon.” Oh, and the Ayatollah is dead.
Iran’s Supreme Leader, the Ayatollah Khamenei, is dead following American air strikes against key Iranian targets after negotiations broke down earlier this week.
At 3 AM Saturday, Trump gave a speech to the nation detailing Iran’s troubled history with the US and Israel, as well as their own people.
“They just wanted to practice evil. … They rejected every opportunity to reject their nuclear ambitions.”
President Trump told the world that Iran now has missiles that can hit Europe and American overseas bases. If something isn’t done to stop them, they could well be able to threaten the American homeland soon. He said that we were going to obliterate their missile tech, annihilate their navy, and that we would ensure that Iran would NOT obtain a nuclear weapon. He also urged the IRGC to lay down their weapons, giving them the choice to have complete immunity and be treated fairly, or face certain death.
“This regime will soon learn that no one should challenge the strength and might of the American Armed Forces.”
We hit strategic areas, including Khamenei’s compound in Tehran.
Many of the IRGC top brass were reportedly taken out by the first salvo. It took most of the day to wade through rubble at Khamenei’s place and find his body, but Israeli sources have confirmed visually that, despite what Iran’s remaining governing officials say, Khamenei is dead.
Trump said that we had taken steps to protect American lives, but Iran “seeks to kill.” This was proven a short time later when Iran fired missiles at US military installations in five different countries across the region. Iran also targeted civilian populations in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, and throughout Israel. Most of the missiles were intercepted by the various countries; however, one missile that got through hit the headquarters of the 5th Fleet in Manama, Bahrain. Eyewitnesses on X said that the US military had evacuated the building a week ago.
So far, there was one fatality in Abu Dhabi, UAE, when falling debris from an intercepted Iranian missile hit a “worker of Asian nationality.” Reports say four more were injured in a fire at the massive Palm Jumeirah hotel. The UAE is not happy with Iran and is already talking about defending itself.
A Syrian town caught a stray missile, and four people died. The Syrians have condemned Iran’s attacks on its neighbors, and have reached out to the UAE and Saudi Arabia, who was also targeted and are now pretty mad, to discuss ways to “safeguard” the region.
A passenger terminal at Kuwait’s International Airport was reportedly hit by a drone. Luckily, no one was killed, and so far, only minor to moderate injuries have been reported. However, Kuwait, which has managed to stay out of conflicts since the 90’s, is now very angry and asserting its right to defend itself.
Israel has reported at least one dead and over 20 wounded when a missile got through the Dome and hit Tel Aviv.
Iran is claiming upwards of 200 people dead, including more than 80 who died when a missile hit a “girls’ school” in Minab. While the Iranians claim that it was either Israel or the US that hit the school, evidence has appeared on X that shows the “school” is within an IRGC compound and had been converted into an administration building and medical center.
At the end of his speech in the wee hours of the morning, Trump urged the Iranian people to take advantage of this and take back their government.
“This is the moment for action, do not let it pass.”
