I’m back behind the mic on Monday but I wanted to share a few quick initial thoughts on this and this:
1) These charges are grossly political. The charges are reportedly that Trump paid hush money to Stormy Daniels to stop her from talking about their alleged affair. But this alone isn’t illegal, as the New York Times piece is forced to acknowledge. It’s why corrupt DA Alvin Bragg is trying to argue that it was an in-kind illegal donation because it silenced Daniels and ultimately benefited Trump’s campaign. It’s quite literally one of the stupidest arguments I’ve read. This is the same Bragg:

Democrats need division and chaos because without it the current administration is indicted by its own record of failure. Bragg is the DA to do it because he’s in very protected, very blue NYC.
Yet, this isn’t the time to run out half-cocked. Which brings me to …
2) I don’t care who says to go out and protest — you’re being baited into repeating January 6th. I was live on air when it happened and was one of the first to express anger at the few destructive rioters who were busting out windows we taxpayers paid for in the Capitol we own. The few — and yes, it was few compared to the thousands and thousands of others who didn’t make the multi-block walk to the Capitol complex — who behaved like Antifa deserved appropriate charges. However, many others received serious penalties for things like “unlawful parading” when they didn’t even enter the Capitol. They were left to hang without a pardon from the Trump administration nor did they receive any funds for bail or attorneys’s fees.
The media and Democrats want the footage of a Trump perp walk. Really, so does Trump. Which brings me to …
3) I wasn’t alone in saying months ago that there is one particular benefit Trump has for announcing early, no matter your opinion: He’s known these charges were coming and it benefits him to look pursued by the feds rather than contested with any potential challengers. The downside of this is that the electorate — which is broke, suffering through inflation, trying to stay afloat during the start of a recession, still worried over supply chain, are going to get tired of the nonstop headline saturation. The American Pravda knows this but Trump doesn’t. He likes media attention, good or bad, because it’s all he’s ever known. Lack of media discipline has always been both his strongest and weakest points. All the people who surrounded him last go-around, who guided his decisions, helped craft a modern strategy, are gone.
This is the time for cooler heads and smart moves. Do not let your political opposition manipulate you into doing what they want. My advice is to take a breath, take a beat, and let the left get over their skis. You know they always do.
I’ll have a big breakdown on Monday.

I don’t think President Trump said riot. I’ve been protesting from when they started there threats to anyone who will listen. I have watched this so called Democratic Party attempt and have basically overthrown our Constitution to include a presidential nominee and general election. The Democrats have always been a party of socialists behavior. That’s their story and they stick with it! The Republicans have always been a party of turn your cheeks, good will prevail. That’s their story and they keep sticking themselves. What is it that good men sit back and do nothing. When you fight for what we could lose you better do it like it’s your last breath. It’s amazing to me how critical people are of President Trump and can’t prove the accusations. Those who have not sinned then cast your stone. If you’re looking for a so called Statesman. Then look no further than Pence. What hypocrites we have become. Just saying .
I swore an oath to our Country 51 years ago and I still stand behind it. God Bless America- Semper Fi

The perfect take as always. Sadly Trump left his protestors to dry in prison when he could have pardoned all who weren’t violent. Sad but true.
