Yup. The Florida “Faux-sassin” was on the FBI’s radar. The FBI admitted that in 2019, they received a tip that he was a felon in possession of a firearm. They sent the information to the local PD in Honolulu, where he was living at the time, and closed the case, “for lack of evidence.”
By now, it’s well known that the Faux-sassin was posted up in the bushes outside Hole 6 of the Trump golf course near Mar-a-Lago for over 12 hours with an SKS with the serial number sanded off, a couple of backpacks that had ceramic plates in them, and a GoPro to record the whole event.
The Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe admitted that there had been no perimeter set up around the golf course, and tried to claim that it was because it was an “unscheduled event” for the former president. The amount of horse-pucky this man is shoveling is incredible. It is very public knowledge that Trump spends Sundays on the golf course, especially when in Florida with excellent weather. It’s so well known, that it has been considered an operational security risk dating back to Trump’s time in office. West Palm Beach’s democratic Sheriff Ric Bradshaw exposed the Secret Service when he said at a press conference that the reason there was no perimeter set up was because Trump is not the sitting president. At least the Secret Service did have drones up this time.
The Faux-sassin suffers from delusions of grandeur. CNN actually has a great write-up delving into it. His North Carolina neighbors described him as strange, one saying that while the warning signs were there, "I guess there was nothing he did that I could report to the police as a suspect or someone we should be worried about."
A former employee spoke out about the time in 2002 when he ran from a traffic stop because he didn’t have a license, and barricaded himself in the roofing company he worked for with a “machine gun” and a “binary explosive device.”
According to the previously mentioned CNN piece, he was well-known to the local PD for being volatile and armed, despite what his son told Daily Mail initially. His son was surprised that his dad was the one who did this, and told Daily Mail that even though they were estranged, his father was not violent and didn’t own guns. Then, after contacting someone else, presumably in the family, for information, he texted the reporter that his dad wanted to be a martyr for the cause:
'I hate this game every four years, and think that we all do, and if my father wants to be a martyr to how broken and disassociated the process has become from the real problems and practical solutions, then that's his choice.
'I'm not saying that's what he's done or what he's about, that's just my own rant being fed up with it all for my entire adult life,' he wrote.
'South Park said it best, every 4 years we're forced to choose between a turd sandwich and a giant douche, and it all stays f****d in the same ways by different degrees, and we're exhausted and embarrassed by it all.'
The Faux-sassin wrote a book back in 2023 about his time in Ukraine. He very much believes in the “Citizen of the World” concept, and as such, we all should be on the ground in Ukraine to stand up to the world’s bully, Putin. This thinking was also mentioned in his interview with Romanian Newsweek. He thinks the world is a collective whole and communism is great, except when Putin is in charge. He also blames Ukrainian corruption on democracy and thinks that the people there were doing better under communism. Then, he blames the world for not supporting Ukraine more over the years, yet admits that all the money is flowing into the pockets of the people at the top, and the poor aren’t getting helped at all. He also apparently encouraged Iran to take Trump out of the picture.
The charges were revealed yesterday afternoon. The Faux-sassin will be charged with two counts of possession. One count of possession of a firearm by a felon and one count of possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
The docket is available on CourtListener. The sad truth is, because he did not fire a shot, and was outside the fence, there may not be much else he can be charged with. With only two counts of possession, it’s entirely possible this guy could walk out of court with probation and fines.
The mainstream and left-wing media are trying to blame Trump for this event. Meanwhile, Trump blames Kamala and the Democrats and their rhetoric. Let's be real; you can only claim that a person is the second coming of the German Big-Bad and an existential threat to democracy, tell your base that he will make Handmaid’s Tale a reality and destroy the fabric of our nation for so long before the fringe nutjobs start getting ideas.

What about ‘Intent’ (mens rea, actus rea)? It seems like this deranged demented dreg has a history of nefarious behavior that can be used against him. Stay Frothy
I told my wife that he probably will not be convicted of any crime. All the evidence against his assassination attempt is circumstantial. Yes, he is a nut case but if he wasn't so stupid as to leave a trail of fingerprints and receipts for the items left behind a jury can be convinced it wasn't him hiding in the bushes.. Maybe he can be committed before he tries it again. or if DeSantis keeps him disappears in the Everglades!
