Judge Norieka has denied the defense motion to bring in the altered 4473. She also ruled that the defense’s “expert” would not be allowed to testify. The defense had planned to bring in a Columbia University psychiatrist to explain why Hunter was not technically a present addict in his own mind when he filled out the form. However, the defense team did not adequately disclose the breadth of the expected testimony, meaning the prosecution could not prepare their counterarguments. As such, the defense will not be allowed to call her.
Meanwhile, the media has already started running defense for the First Son. WaPo has a piece out blaming Hallie Biden, Beau Biden’s widow and Hunter Biden’s ex-girlfriend. They say if she hadn’t thrown the gun away in that dumpster, this case wouldn’t have been brought.
Politico is taking a different tact. They are going after the judges in both of Hunter’s cases, because both judges are Trump appointees.
