Hunter Biden Legal Troubles
Tax Case
Hunter’s legal team argued that none of Hunter’s overseas business deals or any possible FARA violations should be mentioned in court. They accused the prosecution of trying to introduce politically charged information and claimed that the government “does not need to explain how Mr. Biden earned his income to prove its tax charges.”
In other news, Hallie Biden has been granted immunity in order to compel her testimony against Hunter. Also, Hunter added Jussie Smollett’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, to his legal team.

Now that his father is essentially persona non grata in DC, it’s open season on Hunter. The NYTimes released information proving that Hunter had tried to use his name and influence to get the US Ambassador to Italy to set up a meeting with Italian officials on behalf of Burisma. Officials inside the embassy were wary of helping Hunter, whose father had just been made Vice-President. One official wrote, “This is a Ukrainian company and, purely to protect ourselves, [the United States government] should not be actively advocating with the government of Italy without the company going through the [Department of Commerce] Advocacy Center.” Hunter’s lawyer, Abbe Lowell, tried to excuse his client’s behavior. “No meeting occurred, no project materialized, no request for anything in the US was ever sought, and only an introduction in Italy was requested.”
