US Senator accused of breaking Marine Brian McGinnis' arm during Iran war protest

During Wednesday’s Senate Armed Services Committee subcommittee hearing, a man in Marine dress blues decided to protest the current military action in Iran. He yelled at the committee members and generals, in a way that made it sound like he was on active duty, that “we don’t want to die for Israel!” That's not what's happening. But anyway, the point is he's ridiculous.

He proceeded to resist and even fight with the Capitol Police officers who tried to escort him out. At one point, Senator Sheehy, a former Navy Seal, jumped in to help the police officers wrangle the guy out the door. Unfortunately, in the struggle, the man’s arm broke after he got it stuck in the door. As he was finally ushered out into the hall, he sang a bastardized version of the Marine Corps anthem, calling for “Palestine” to be free. He then rambled on about how no one wants to die for Israel while waiting for medical to appear. So, who is he?

Meet Brian McGinnis. He is a former Marine who served from 2000 to 2004. He was part of the first incursion into Iraq during the 2003 Gulf War, and then switched to boxing after he made the Marines’ Boxing Team. After his four-year contract was up, he was honorably discharged. He is currently running for office in North Carolina as part of the Green Party. His wife is a “Palestinian” American. He is all over her social media, waving the Gazan flag and everything, including while in uniform.
