For the TL;DR: two far-left BLM thirty-something losers moved in to their parents’s house next door to the Alitos and incessantly harassed them by driving past their house, yelling at them, calling Mrs. Alito a “c*nt,” placing signs in their yard directed at the Alitos, and calling 911 on them when Mrs. Alito flew the flag upside down as a smartypants protest.
The loser neighbors also collaborated with the New York Times to control the truth of their behavior and direct a narrative hit job. The press, mad that they couldn’t pack the Supreme Court, gleefully went along with it.
As to the request for recusal, Alito said the flag stuff was his wife’s hobby so don't come at him with this shade. “My wife is fond of flying flags. I am not.” Some on X claimed that Alito threw his wife under the bus because they apparently didn’t read the same letter I did. Mrs. Alito needs no defense and seems perfectly capable of not only holding her own, but tossing into the sun any bus barreling her way.
