Hunter Biden Legal Troubles
In the tax evasion case, Judge Michael Scarsi held a hearing on Hunter’s many motions to dismiss on March 27. While the judge will not be ruling on the matters until April 17, based on the questions he asked and the statements made, it sounds like he will be denying the motions.
Business Fraud Case
Trump was granted a last-second reprieve from the New York Court of Appeals. The Appeals Court reduced the bond needed from close to half a billion dollars to $175 million. They gave him ten more days to come up with the funds, as well as stayed the portions of the ruling that would have removed Trump and his boys from the family businesses and forbade them from applying for loans. This means that the Trump men get to stay in business and try to get a loan for the bond money.
Indictment 1: The Stormy Daniels Case
On Monday, March 25, Judge Merchan held a hearing on Trump’s motion to dismiss due to discovery violations and to set a new start date.
